4 Secrets to Weight-loss without dieting

Ever asked yourself how you can lose weight without dieting? Probably never even crossed your mind, purely because we have been so brain washed into thinking we must diet in order to create weight-loss and weight balance. Well in this article I share the 4 secrets to weight-loss without dieting.

Society, the media and huge corporations have conditioned us into feeling bad about our bodies, but also that in order to lose weight you better get onto the next dieting trend or fad.

Surely there can’t be another way?

How many of these have you tried;

  • Keto diet

  • Atkins diet

  • South beach diet

  • Slimming world

  • Weight-watchers

  • Herbalife

  • Cabbage soup

  • Slim-fast?

The list is endless, and I have tried all except slim-fast. Did any of them work? Yes all of them, for a matter of weeks or week, and then what ended up happening was that I either just could not stick to it, felt terribly guilty and ended up binging, or the self-discipline became too much to bare, and when I stopped I just put all the weight back on.

  1. Releasing your emotional blocks that sabotage you around food. We over eat for an emotional reason-always. When you uncover the reason and release this sabotaging pattern you stop over-eating, you come into a place of harmony with food and this results in weight-loss and stability.

  2. Making getting fit fun. The hardest thing to do is make yourself do something you just can’t stand. Self-discipline is not the answer. The answer is enjoying moving. When you enjoy it, it becomes sustainable, consistent and equals results. The secret here is to find a way to enjoy moving your body.

  3. Learning body acceptance now. You can not lose weight when you ‘feel fat’, ‘over-weight’, ‘bad’, ‘embarrassed’, ‘ashamed’ etc. Learning how to begin a feeling of accepting and being kind to your body is what will actually keep you motivated to be healthy and treat your body the way you want to treat it.

  4. Filling up your own cup. This is one of the biggest keys. If you have heard of manifesting, and 'The law of attraction’, then you will understand the power of feeling good so you can create the results you desire. The more you feel good now, the easier it is to have the body and health you want, and to get that glow you so desire.
