WOW! Another success for Sirin - writer for OK!

Read Sirin’s advice in OK!

Not only has Sirin built a great reputation with her clients as a wellbeing coach, she’s sharing her advice in internationally acclaimed publications. When OK! asked her to share her expertise, Sirin was more than happy to write a special article for them on one of her favourite topics, meditation.

At World of Wonderful, all we can say is WOW! Well done Sirin!

Sirin says:

Writing has always been one of my passions. I studied English language at school and at the age of 19 was writing whenever I could. I love it! It’s a great way to explore my thoughts and free my mind.

I really like the idea too, that I can use words to help people towards better understanding and harmony.

Communication matters

Exploring our ideas and feelings, communicating them to others, really does matter.

So much of our mental wellbeing is tied in with out thoughts and our ability to express them. Sirin is a wonderful communicator. With self-reflection and dedication, she’s explored techniques to develop herself as an individual, so she can help others on the same journey to increased confidence, more self-worth and higher self-esteem.

Meditation, in some ways, is communication with ourselves. It’s an important part of Sirin’s daily routine, and one she’s happy to share with her readers.

Writing is also a route towards understanding more of our own thoughts and feelings.

Try your own hand at writing therapy

Forget all you learned at school. Just get yourself a pencil and a scrap of paper.

Begin with a little doodle - any object you like - in the middle of the page. A flower perhaps, a house, a heart. Draw a mini sketch of something that represents a subject you’re thinking about .

Write a name there. It may be yours, it may be someone else’s. It may even be a place.

Then around that doodle, write six areas of your life that matter to you. It may be food, or love, money or work.

After that, you’ve got it! Just write words, sentences and anything that comes into your head, to help make sense of the myriad of jumbled thoughts we have in our brains that just need organising.

It’s a great way to start thinking things through. Because freehand writing is kinaesthetic, a little every day helps kickstart the brain into communicating how we feel, even if it’s only with ourselves. No-one else needs to see your work, but one day you may find you have some great ideas you want to share - just as Sirin did.
